She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Flossie Mae Hasty Bowen; her husband Bricey "Hoppy" Cassady; and her son Steve Allen. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Thompson of Seale, Imogene Thompson of Ashford, Mary Ellen Dunne of Gordon, Bruce Cassady (Susan) of Dothan, Brian Cassady (Kim) of Cowarts, Dawn Steed (Ronnie) of Dothan, Nancy Cassady of Wicksburg and Brad Cassady of San Antonio, Texas.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters.
