It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Jackson (Headland, Alabama), who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Jackson and Ruthie Mae Jackson; his grandson Vantavius Dishon McKay; his brother Charles Jones; his uncle Paul Jones; and his aunt Annie Lee Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Jackson (Jill), Barbara Jackson (Thomas), Bobby Joe Jackson, Jr. (Jackie), Pamela Jackson, Jeffrey Jackson, Stevie Jackson (Christina), Kenneth Jackson (Lesley), Wailon Minnifield, Kimberly Bighems, Damitra Jackson, Nakeshia Brown and Torez Jackson; and his siblings, Sam Jackson, Jr. (Elaine), Selma Jackson Lemon, Early Jackson, James Jackson (Patricia), Shirley Jackson and Mary Bowers. He is also survived by 47 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
