She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse James and Realy Mae McKee Barefield; her husband Ronald Dean Davis, Sr.; her son Ronald Dean Davis, Jr.; her son-in-law Chip Eugene Gaier; and her siblings, Willie James Barefield, Billy Joe Barefield, Sara Helen Mathis and Mable Hutto of Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gaier (Chip) of Midland City, AL, Susan McCalvin (Tommy) of Midland City, AL and Daniel Hartgrove of Ewell, AL; her grandchildren, Jeana Breuer (John) of Midland City, Tonya Scott (Javon-Pi) of Opelika, AL, Tony Spivey, Jr. (Autumn) of Slocomb, AL, Toby Spivey of Midland City and Keisha Glover of Newton, AL; her great grandchildren, Junior Smith, Kenleigh Scott, Natalie Breuer, Landrick Scott and Marenzah Scott; and her siblings, Jesse Hilton Barefield (Brenda), Pamela Sue Roberts (Stan), Jimmy Ray Barefield (Nancy) and Betty Davis (Tony).
