It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Skipper Spivey (Headland, Alabama), who passed away on November 6, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Levin Skipper and Lois Mae Snell Skipper; her husband Max E. Spivey; her son-in-law Lee Bottomlee; and her brother Haywood Skipper.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Vallejo (René) of Kinsey, Renee Bottomlee of Kinsey and Ronnie Spivey (Lynn); her sister Annette Cherry (Charles); her grandchildren, Courtney Spivey, Stacey Harris and Kevin Rockett (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Bradley Harris and Colby Harris; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Branton, Bobbie Spivey, Graceville, Luverne Skipper, Thomas J. Spivey, Chuck Spivey (Sheila) and Rehobeth.
