He was predeceased by: his parent Paul Frank Sims; and his great grandchild Cassie Malllory. He is survived by: his parent Jeanette Carlile Sims; his wife Sue White Sims of Headland; his children, Sandie Sims Rigsby (Tim), Headland Barbour, Jeanie Sims Barbour (Charles) and Gene Sims; and his brothers, Wayne Sims (Paula), Birmingham Sims and Charles Sims (Sheila).
