She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Hicks and Lucille Tanner Hicks; and her siblings, Thurman Hicks, Roy Hicks, Louise Neeley and Elsie Estes.
She is survived by: her husband Leamon Sparks; her children, Denis (Jennifer Sparks), Regina (Jeff McMinn), Teresa (Danny Ratley), Pam (Steve Poole) and Mark (Pam Sparks); her grandchildren, Tabitha Anderson, Janet Poole, Nathaniel Sparks, Jason McMinn, Brandy Fletcher, Shawn Ratley, Alisha Atchley, Mandy Keene, Tyler McMinn and Thomas Sparks; and her sister Linda. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
