It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Paul Ikard of Hazel Green, Alabama, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ernest Ikard and Ethel Eveleen Ikard-Warren (Warren). He is survived by: his daughters, Callie Austin (Jeremy) and Haley Gentle (Alan); his siblings, Debra, Janice, Marty and Calvin; and his grandchildren, Slade Austin, Emmett Gentle and Reagan Gentle. He is also survived by four-legged friend, J-Lo, in addition to many nieces and nephews.
