It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Maryland Whitten of Hazel Green, Alabama, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Larry and Edward. He is survived by: his wife Judith Galbraith (Trevecca Nazarene University); his sons, Randy (Jedonna) and Rodney (Ellie); his brother David (Kathy); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Beth, Jeremy, Chelsea, Brittany and Caleb; and his nieces and nephews, David Whitten Jr., Mark Whitten, Nancy Thompson and Amy Rutkowski.
