Rosa Tomlin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosa Tomlin of Hazel Green, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Carl and Julianne Josephine Stem Lemmon; her husband James Howard Tomlin Sr.; her son James Howard Tomlin Jr.; her grandson Bruce Holland Bentley; her great grandchild Savannah Lynn Perry; and her children-in-law, Frank Bentley and Lynn Tomlin.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean Bentley, Joan Gail West (Harrison), Jerry Haven Tomlin Sr. (Jami), Jack Edward Tomlin Sr. (Sherri), Jill Charmaine Adams, Joy Elizabeth McNeal and Julianne Locker (David). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
