He was predeceased by: his father Henry Lewis Cox; his siblings, Patricia Cox, Danny Cox and Ronald Cox; and his sister-in-law Mitzi Cox.
He is survived by: his mother Joann Cothren Cox; his wife Paula J. Cox; his children, Kayla Cox, Ricky Cox, Jr. (Sarah) and Curtis Cox (Heather); his grandchildren, Westin, Austin, Lucy, Sydney, Logan, Kaylee, Mason and Madison; and his siblings, Lisa Bennett (Steve), Cecil W. Cox and Roger Cox (Cyndi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
