It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Gene Selby of Hazel Green, Alabama, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Selby and Mary Thompson Selby; and his sisters, Inez Lones and Joyce Sharpe. He is survived by: his wife Faye Jaco Selby; his children, Jeanna Moore (Ronnie Moore) and Larry Selby (Tammy Selby); his sisters, Loise Mullins, Juanita Miller, Vivian Selby, Carolyn Acock (Billy Acock) and Connie Morris; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Crossley, Brynn, Stella Crossley, Justin Green, Henley, Harper, Hudson Green, Austin Selby, Christian Motz, Layla, Norah Motz, Dalton Selby and Kaytlyn Selby.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Valhalla Memory Gardens (698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811).
