She was predeceased by: her parents, James Locke and Inez Locke (Fowler); her husband Howard Wheeler; and her sister Kathryn Locke Moorer. She is survived by: her daughters, Lindy Wheeler, Ann Wheeler Jerrell (Mike) and Robin Townson (Tommy); her grandchildren, Stephen Jerrell (Angela), Benjamin Howard Jerrell (Mike O'Brien), Michael Jerrell (Jennifer), Whitney Bailey (Adam) and Ty Townson (Andy Hopper); and her great grandchildren, Noah Jerrell, Gabriel Jerrell, Bailey Jerrell, Briceton Wheeler Bailey, Caroline Bailey, Reed Bailey and Harper Bailey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Clay Cemetery.
