She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Everett; and her parents, Horace Cothren and Mildred Cothren. She is survived by: her sisters, Juanita Cothren, Ruth Hicks and Lila Faye Caldwell; her grandson Dakota Hargrove; her daughters, Melody Swinford and Joanie Welch (Russell); her grandchildren, Beverly Welch, Stephanie Verville (Ed), Natosha White (Stan), Alice Welch and Joshua Gibbs; her great grandchildren, Zoie, Matthew, Aydan and Arabella; and her siblings, Johnny, Frankie, James, David Cothren, Yvonne Hicks, Sarah Price, Linda Riddle and Nancy Bankston.
She was a dedicated Christian and was a member of Charity Baptist Church.
