It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goldie Pigg of Hazel Green, Alabama, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pigg and Donia Pigg; and his siblings, Juanita Satterfield, Bertie Pigg, Ruby Mitchell, Junie Mae Barnett, Katie Shelton, Clara Brown, Erskine Pigg, Earl Clutts, Roger Pigg and Clarence Pigg Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jean Pigg; his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law David "Eddie" Moore of Hazel Green, Alabama; his grandsons, Stephen Moore (Winter) of Fayetteville and Michael Heath VanMarter (Neal) of Norcross, Georgia; his siblings, Jerry Pigg of Hazel Green and Judy Simmons of Kelso, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Autumn and Jayda Schwartz; and his cousins, Buck Sanders and Odell Laster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his special friends.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or SouthernCare Hospice in honor of Goldie.
