She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Sharp and Lucille Boles Sharp; her husband Wayne Collins; and her siblings, Jean Thompson, Vernell Moorehead, Glenis Pack and Doug Sharp.
She is survived by: her sons, James Shelton of Hazel Green, AL and Melvin Shelton, Sr. of Hazel Green, AL; and her siblings, Edith Mitchell (Harold) of Hazel Green, AL, Gladys Vernon (Bill) of Hazel Green, AL, Rachel Kelly (Wendell) of Huntsville, AL and Larry Sharp (Gloria) of Spring Hill, FL. She is also survived by five step-children; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
