She was predeceased by: her son Wesley Black. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Birchfield, Rhonda Rozell, Ray Parker and Michael Parker; her husband William "Bill" Smith; her son Chris; her daughter-in-law Rachel Smith; her granddaughter Emilee Smith; her sister Sandy; and her brother-in-law Gerald Green. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Ellen J. Smith, 66, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord peacefully while at home on Tuesday after battling Alzheimer's disease for the last several years.
