He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Edger Bishop; his parents, Joseph Ed Edger and Thelma Geddings Winkles; and his brother Jimmy Dale Edger. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Edger; his son Matt Edger (Mary Beth); his siblings, Pat Edger Flanagan, James Doyle Edger and Wayne Edger; and his stepson Bryan Drake. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
