He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen M. Hopkins (Kathy); and his parent Lizzie Mae Hopkins. He is survived by: his children, Donnie Hopkins (Amanda), David C. Hopkins, Aaron Hopkins (Pam), Tammy Underwood (Shane) and Deanna R. Hager; his grandsons, Ryan Underwood, Craig Hopkins, Dustin Hopkins and Shawn Hager; his great grandchild Layla Mae Hopkins; his sister Gail Myers; his niece Lynette Myers; his nephew Tim Myers; and his siblings-in-law, John Jackson (Josephine), Joe Jackson (Lori), Tommy Jackson (Bernice), Danny Jackson (Nichole) and Sue Merkel.
