He is survived by: his wife Michelle Broyles Laten; his children, Donald Shannon (Robin), Dennis Lee Laten, Sabrina Laten and Stacey Laten; his grandchildren, Whitney Pierce, Brilee Shannon and Trevor Shannon; and his siblings, Tony Laten, Benny Laten, Connie Laten, Darlene Laten and Phillip Laten.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
