It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Nunley of Hazel Green, Alabama, born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, who passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Wann Nunley; his parents, Reverend Willie B. Nunley and Mary Turner Nunley; his sister Jeanne Comer (Richard); and his brother-in-law Callen Wann (Jimmy Wann).
He is survived by: his children, Jason Nunley (Ashley) of Portland, Oregon and Kellee Nunley Brennan (Conor) of Chappaqua; his grandchildren, Madison Nunley, Vivienne Nunley, Austin Brennan and Callum Brennan; and his sisters, Lorraine Neidert (Mac) of Loretto and Janice Gillespie (Dicky) of McMinnville, Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
