He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mearse and Cora Mearse; his brother-in-law Johnny Bell; and his nephew Joshua Bell. He is survived by: his children, Haley and Mikalah Mearse; his granddaughter McKenna Mearse; and his children, Elizabeth Traylor (James), Donna Helton (David), Thersia Caswell (Brad) and Melissa Duke (Douglas). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
