He was predeceased by: his wife Rena Mae Kimbrough; his sons, Dewayne Kimbrough and Gary Kimbrough; and his siblings, Charles Kimbrough, Oscar Kimbrough, Al Kimbrough, J. W. Kimbrough, Lem Kimbrough, Tom Brandon, Sissy Swinford, Estelle Pate, Lina Hopkins and Florence Lee.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Kimbrough and Lary; his daughter-in-law Dorothy Kimbrough; his grandchildren, Kevin Kimbrough, Samantha Layne, Scott Kimbrough, Andrew Kimbrough and Jacob Kimbrough; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Kimbrough, Caden Kimbrough, Jace Kimbrough, Addie Kimbrough, Lawson Clyde Kimbrough, Kaylee Piche and Bryleigh Layne.
He was a Christian and a member of Charity Baptist Church.
