With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Cornes of Hazel Green, Alabama, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O. Bauer and Marie Bauer; her husband John H. Cornes; and her sister Evelyn Baldwin. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Fitzer (John); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Beth and Alecia Fitzer; and her nephew Tom Baldwin.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Shiner's Hospital in Betty's name if desired.
