She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Drake; her son Danny Wayne Drake; her parents, Roy Cobb and OraDell Cobb; and her sister Mary Jane McGaha.

She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Giles (Clay) and Brad Drake (Christy); her grandchildren, Kirsten Block (James), Callie Giles, Nathan Giles, Colton Drake and Carley Drake; her great grandchildren, Caroline, Sophie and Hallie; and her sisters, Sandra Self (Bobby) and Lisa Townsend (Darryl).

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home & Crematory (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
