He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gene Gaston, George Blake, Webb Blake and James Blake; his cousins, Elizabeth Hooper and Ballard Blake; his son-in-law Dr. Carl Kellum; and also Mary Claire Reid Blake.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Claire Reid; his wife Joyce Harrell Blake; his daughters, Sarah Meadows (Bill), Becky Kellum and Anne Mitchell (Jent); and his grandchildren, Laura Blue (Jim), Jennifer Smith (David), Kathleen Haines (Tim), Tom Meadows (Susie), Jentry Mitchell, Thomas Mitchell, Martha Hovater (Michael), Luke Kellum (Lindsay), Jim Kellum (Sara) and Ben Kellum (Rachel).
Due to the COVID pandemic, a private family service will be held with burial in Ft. Deposit.
