She was predeceased by: her grandson Christopher Thomas; her great grandchild Jordan Thomas; her parents, Charlie Jackson and Ophelia Shaver; her brother C. J. Shaver, Jr.; her sister-in-law Linda Shaver; and her sons-in-law, LaWayne Thomas and Charles Oswalt.
She is survived by: her husband Travis Pennington; her children, Sheila Oswalt Dunn (James) and Terry Pennington; her grandchildren, Joseph Thomas (Christie), Amelia Hicks (Tommy), Angie Schottmann (Achim) and Kelsey Maddox (Danny); and her brother Lonnie Shaver. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
