She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Thomas and Mozell Thomas; her daughter Suzanne Smith; and her grandson Kenneth R. Booth, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Donald Wayne Smith; and her sons, Stephen Smith (Rhonda), Jeremy Smith (Kelli) and Jonathan Smith (Stacey). She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
