She was predeceased by: her husband Elwyn Sloan; and her parents, Benjamin Staton and Ida Staton. She is survived by: her son Larry Sloan; her grandsons, Cliff Sloan (Christina) and Christopher Sloan (Kalea); and her great grandchildren, Kinglsey, Cash and Mary Kate Sloan.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
