He was predeceased by: his parents, Wynford Gaither and Leora Marsh Gaither; and his brothers, Dan and Grady Gaither. He is survived by: his wife Jean Dolan Gaither; his children, Danny Gaither (Rocio), David Gaither (Marsha), Steve Gaither (Jenny), Staci Meyer (Bill) and Traci Gaither; and his siblings, Felix Gaither (Sue), Ida Carr and Shelia NeSmith (Mark). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
