He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Janie Inez Burns; and his father-in-law Johnny Cupps. He is survived by: his wife Sherry C. Burns; his children, Cole Burns and Courtney Burns; his brothers, Ronald Burns (Donna) and Gerald Burns (Teresa); his mother-in-law Anita Cupps; and his sister-in-law Jenny Cupps. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
