He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzie Mae and James Houston Haney, Sr.; his wife Frances L. Haney; his siblings, Buck Goodwin, Arthur Mae Suggs, Bobby Davis, Penny Jenkins, Lou Ella Poole and Wilma Lee Clark; and his grandson Justin Hayes Haney.
He is survived by: his children, Gina Haney Preston (Terry) of Fultondale, Rebecca Haney of Mt, Brian Haney (Tracy) of Dustin, Emily Haney Ray (Daniel) of Hayden and Colin Lee Haney of Dustin. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
