He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. McCombs and Alene McCombs; and his siblings, Ross McCombs (Linda), Jack McCombs and Mona Bannister.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila McCombs; his children, Kevin McCombs (Allyson) and Stephanie Pate (Tim); his son-in-law Chris Robinette (Lisa); his grandchildren, Anna (Joey), Shelby, Davey, Joshua and James David; his grandson-in-law Colin; and his brother Collis McCombs (Karen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
