She was predeceased by: her siblings, Voight Horton, Dora Horton McMannus and Joyce Horton; her husbands, Houston Frye and Horace Dooley; her son John Frye; and her siblings, John Ray Horton of Bert Horton, Lucille Chastain, Frances Wilson and Sue Arwood.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Frye (Joyce), Sharon Frye Writesman (Sonny), William Frye (Virgie), Timothy Frye and Lorena Frye Meadows (Gary); and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Frye. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren.
