He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Sloan and Annie Lee Sloan; and his brothers, Billy Sloan, Doug Sloan and Harold Sloan.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Sloan; his sons, Don Sloan (Mary), Jeff Sloan (Patricia) and David Sloan (Lisa); and his sister Dorothy York. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
