With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Archie Emerson Jr. of Hayden, Alabama, born in Marion, Alabama, who passed away on November 4, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, T. R. Emerson and Madira Emerson; his wife Lavonne Emerson; his children, Keith Emerson (Martha), Karen Rowe (Chip) and Kim Simpson (Allen); his grandchildren, Brittany Mitchell (Jeremy), A. J. Emerson (Kaylee), Mandy Simpson, Michael Vardaman and Hunter Emerson; and his great grandchildren, Evan Mitchell, Liza Jane Mitchell, Grady Emerson and Harley Emerson. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
