He is survived by: his wife Rose Mitchell; his children, Tammy Rains (Tyler), Ray Mitchell (Mary) and Nikki Vincent (Guillaume); and his siblings, Tony Mitchell (Linda), Donna Derrick and Shirley Wise. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
