She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas White and Mary Emma White; her siblings, Carrie Lee White and Thomas White Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Seal, Howard Prewitt and Willa M. Rich.
She is survived by: her significant other Minister Hosie Seal; her children, Marcia Hatchett (Marcus), Hosie Seal Jr. and Paul Seal (Linda); her grandchildren, Megan Chatman, Morgan Hale (Kirt), Hosie Seal III, Daniel Seal, Jorden Seal and Mayah Seal; her great grandchildren, Dia Hale, Dakota Hale and Dallas Hale; her siblings, Millie, Belle Taylor-McGhee (James) and Ethel Lee (Garry White Sr.); her nieces and nephews, Millie, Clarence "Tony" Taylor, Thomas White III, Masai Ali, Garry White Jr. and Gabrielle White; her great-nephews, Noah Ali and Thomas White IV; her cousins, Early "Buddy" White and Curtis White; her siblings-in-law, Stacey Anderson, W. D. Seal (Shirley), L. B., Lillie Seal Norman, Benjamin Seal and Evelyn; and her goddaughter Ebony Cromartie.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Royal Funeral Home (4315 NW Oakwood Ave, Huntsville, AL 35810). The lying in state was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (2562 Bob Wade Ln, Harvest, AL 35749). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
