She was predeceased by: her mother JoNell Rivera. She is survived by: her fiancé Joe Ritter; her daughter JoAnna Carney (Jaede); and her siblings, Kayla Howard (Rooks) and Billy Joe Pearson. She is also survived by brothers, nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
