He is survived by: his wife Birdie Ferguson of Harvest, AL; his children, JoAnn Bailey (Richard) of Ardmore, AL, Mary Johnson (Bobby) of Toney, AL, Amanda Bishop (Kevin) of Huntsville, AL, Susan Sims of Athens, AL, Charles Ferguson of Athens, AL and Michael Ferguson of Athens, AL; his siblings, Eugene Ferguson of Athens, AL, Herbert Ferguson of Decatur, AL, Martha Gossett of Athens, AL and Sue Swann of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Keith Bailey, Jonathan Randolph, Hailey Bates, Jessica Key, Brandon Wimmer, Karley Bishop, Abigail Bishop and Nathan Bishop; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Bailey, Natalie Bailey, Jackson Bradford and Logan Henry Bradford.
