He is survived by: his wife Betty Abernathy; and his children, Terry Abernathy, Mike Abernathy (Jo Ann), Vicky Abernathy, Jackie Abernathy, Jr., Kim Beltz (John), Ira Beltz (Denise), Jim Beltz (Ann) and Dennis Hyde. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; 5 sisters; several cousins.
