He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mae Z. Hansen; his brother Brian F. Clare (late Rhenae Clare); his parent Mary Jane Clare; and his brothers-in-law, Robbi Ciminero and Dave Johnson.

He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Milam, Megan Byerly (Colin) and Ian Clare (Caitlin); his wife Angela; his grandchildren, Margot Byerly, Ava Clare, Zeke Milam and Mac Milam; his sister Donna Clare; his aunt Nancy Hansen; his cousin Joani Regner; his sisters-in-law, Sara Asher, Paula Clare Ciminero and Denise Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Erin Acuff (Jon), Sophia Johnson, Colin Clare (Sara) and Christian Taylor; and his great-nieces, Elliotte and Annabelle Acuff. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Heritage Church (29768 Huntsville Brownsferry Rd, Madison, AL 35756).

“My name is Ed Ahouse. I was a friend of Greg in his Air Force years at F.E.Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wy. I have neglected my old friend Greg all of these decades due to no-one's fault but mine. For that I am sorry. Of the short time that Greg was part of my life, I remember him to be vivacious and full of life. As I read his obituary above, I was absolutely unaware of his extended family. My condolences go out to his wife, children and family. God, he was a lot of fun!”
