He was predeceased by: his mother Jo Riggs; and his brother Steve Couey. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Couey (Melissa), Courtney Couey of Ringgold, GA and Caitlin Couey Orr (Jacob) of Huntsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to American Heart Association and The National Kidney Foundation.
