She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Genie Smith; her husband Hoyt Alvis; her brothers, Jeffrey Smith, Jimmy Williams and Michael Williams; and her grandson Glen Stout.
She is survived by: her children, Gary S. Lawson (Alisa), Melissia S. Lowery (Jeff) and Tara L. Henderson (Daniel); and her sister Linda Glenn. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
