She is survived by: her husband Lloyd; her daughters, Denise Nix Slupe (Frank) and Natalie Nix Page (Steve); and her granddaughters, Caroline Slupe Boswell (Will), Abby Slupe, Olivia Slupe, Lauren Slupe, Ashley W. Goodwin (Chase) and Kate W. Bolton (Tyler). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (616 Jackson St SE, Decatur, AL 35601).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to: The Lloyd and Sandra Nix Memorial Scholarship Fund This scholarship will be awarded to an Auburn University EAGLES program student annually.
