It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Mae Chapman Hightower (Danville, Alabama), who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frye Chapman and Virginia Ruth Rice; her daughter Lorie Hightower Carroll (Mike Carroll); her son-in-law Rick Hibbs; and her brother Bob Chapman.
She is survived by: her husband Trillis Hightower; her children, Johnny Wayne Hightower, Tammy Hightower Hibbs and Christy Hightower Vest (Shaun); and her great great grandchildren, Corey Hibbs, Dusty Hibbs, Shaun Vest, Randall Hightower, Buster Hill and Phillip Bryant. She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren Sixteen Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Piney Grove First Congregational Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers; family requests memorial donations be made to Southern Care Hospice.
