He is survived by: his wife Helen Oden McCaghren; his daughters, Tammy Stover (Nick Stover), Tina Nelson (Tim Nelson) and Tracie Turrentine (Josh Turrentine); his grandchildren, Dillon Childers, McKayla Stover, Landon Nelson, Laney Nelson, Jayden Turrentine and Joslyn Turrentine; and his great grandchildren, Emmie-Lou Childers and Anna Mae Childers.
