She is survived by: her husband George Smith of Trinity, AL; her children, Ricky Smith (Janice) of Athens, AL, Coynis Smith (Valerie) of Huntsville, AL, Patrick Smith (Rhonda) of Decatur, Agnes Grant of Flint, AL, Angela Smith of Hartselle, AL and Annetta Echols (Freddie) of Hartselle, AL; her siblings, Jonas C. Smiley of Decatur, Lester Smiley (Georgia) of Decatur, Jessie Smiley (Michelle) of Decatur, John Smiley (Donna) of Courtland, AL, Richard C. Smiley of Chattanooga, TN, Bayles Smiley of Chattanooga, TN, Jessie Laverne Smiley of Chattanooga, TN, Mildred Ross (Tommie) of Louisville, Sylvia Morris of Decatur, Katie Sutherlin of Decatur, Vera Ashford of Decatur and Catherine King (Freddie) of Hillsboro, AL; and her adoptive children, Tammy and Thomas Brown. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
