It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary R. Shaneyfelt of Hartselle, Alabama, born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bemis E. Raley and Viola Raley (Hooper); her grandson Benji Murphy; and her brother Armon Raley. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Henry (Thomas) of Decatur; her grandsons, Mike Murphy of New York City and Major Logan Henry; her great grandchildren, John Walker Henry and Lily Ann Henry; her siblings, Dot Ledlow (Clyde) and Arvil Raley (Ann); and her foster son Bobby Looney (Nancy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
