He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Beard and Estie Mae Roy Beard. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Beard; his children, Mac Beard (Becky), Russ Beard (Susan) and Leigh Ann Beard; and his brother Paul Beard (Joyce). He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews 7 Grandchildren 4 Great-Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Peck Funeral Home Chapel (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640).
