He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawton Hill and Fannie Velma Childers Hill. He is survived by: his wife Carole Splawn Hill; his children, Mark William Hill (Netta Sue) and Melanie Pike (Barry); his grandchildren, Katie Fields (Judson), Kelley Hill, Matthew William Hill (Natasha), Bonnie Pearce (Adam) and Julianna Pike; and his great grandchildren, Emma Fields, John Mark Fields, Betsy Fields, Allie Carole Fields, Jack Bailey, Walter Blackman, Matthew Hill, Danny Lanier, Jimmy Legg, Adam Pearce, Danny Strickland and Herb Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Junior Hill Seminary Scholarship Fund at Westmeade Baptist Church.
